CICCE is a non-profit organization inaugurated in 2013 by University at Albany, SUNY with a partner university in China — Southwestern University of Finance and Economics based in Chengdu, Sichuan. CICCE is dedicated to fostering the study of Chinese language, culture and economy. It accomplishes this mission through high quality Chinese language instruction, diverse cultural events, and outstanding academic lectures and seminars, while it engages the local business community in the sophisticated study of the Chinese economy and its implications for New York. In the past years, while teaching Chinese language for students, UAlbany CI has organized / sponsored dozens of large scale cultural activities, performances and academic lectures, seminars, as well as forums. It will continue its way on to serve the people in the Capital Region and communities nearby, by offering more Chinese language courses, cultural activities, and academic and training events.
The Chinese Community Center of Capital District Of New York, Inc., established since 1973, is a non-profit and non-political organization, registered IRS 501(c) section 3. The goal of CCC is to serve the Chinese community in the Capital District and friends who are interested in Chinese culture, language, and people. CCC organizes the Chinese School for anyone interested in learning the Chinese language; organizes activities to promote Chinese culture and serves the communities in need of help. After 42 years of development, CCC stands as one of the largest, fastest-growing, and most active community organizations in the New York State Capital Region.
