CCC Math Club 2024-2025 Registration

大家好！2024-25新学年的华社数学俱乐部开始报名啦！

在去年俱乐部活动和今年暑期夏令营活动成功举办的鼓舞下，数学俱乐部今年的活动除了传承历

年来的传统，为学生们提供学习与交流的机会之外，今年将着力提高活动的趣味性和互动性。我

们将大幅降低纸面练习的比重，并大力提高集体讨论，分组竞赛，以及游戏等环节的比重，让学

生更深度地参与到活动中来。

The purpose of the CCC Math club is to provide students with an opportunity to work on math

problems together in small groups, so they can encourage and inspire each other, as well as

improve their problem-solving skills. The students will be assigned to a group based on their

interests, grades, and abilities (see available groups above). The problem-solving group

activities will be held in the CCC building every Saturday 6:30-8:30pm from 9/14/2024 through

June 2024. The CCC Math Club activities are free of charge to all CCC member families.

However, we encourage participating families to make a one-time donation to CCC to help

cover their building operation costs. Donation methods and suggested amount will be provided

活动目的(Purpose)：

帮助对数学有兴趣的学生：

 结识兴趣相投的朋友，给学生们提供相互鼓励、共同学习的机会

 接触更多数学知识，开拓视野

 提高基础运算能力和解题技巧

 培养当众讲解及与他人交流合作的能力

活动内容(Activities and Grouping)：

参加活动的学生将按照年级和数学学习程度分组，每组在一至两名coach的指导下做题并一起讨

论、讲解。目前预设的分组包括：（接下来也可能会按实际报名情况调整）

Problem solving practices under guidance of coaches:

 Group 1 – Beast Academy for K-1 Grade

 Group 2 – Beast Academy for Grade 2-3

 Group 3 – Beast Academy for Grade 4-5

 Group 4 – Prealgebra for Grade 4-6

 Group 5 – Introduction to Algebra for Grade 5-7

 Group 6 - AMC 8 and MATHCOUNTS for Grade 6-8

 Group 7 - Geometry and Intermediate Algebra (Question answering for Chinese School

Classes only)

Saturday 6:30pm-8:30pm（September 14, 2024, to June 2025, except holidays. Detailed

本活动向全体华社会员家庭免费开放。但为了维持活动的严肃性，以及帮助华社负担一部分场地

维护支出，我们稍后会在自愿的基础上，组织一次捐款活动。捐款目标、用途和方式将稍后公布

。(Free of charge to all CCC members and families. Voluntary donations to CCC will be held

later.)
