Chinese Community Center Lunar New Year Cultural Month:
The Chinese Community Center’s biggest event of the year - Chinese Lunar New Year (aka Spring Festival) is just around the corner. Every year the two months before and after Lunar New Year is the busiest time for the Chinese Community volunteer team. Not only are they busy with the Lunar New Year Gala show, but they are also invited to various schools, organizations, libraries and senior centers to introduce Chinese Lunar New Year, Increase the public's understanding of Chinese festivals. bringing performances, crafts and joy to multiple places in the Capital Region.
The following is the list of activities currently undertaken by the Chinese Community. If you or your children study or work in these places, please consider to join the team of Chinese Community Volunteers and work together to promote Chinese New Year, and have fun together.

中国人的大事-春节已经就在眼前。每年春节前后两个月，是华社志愿者团队最忙碌的时间，不但要忙春晚，也要受邀去各个学校，团体，图书馆介绍中国年， 给各处带去表演，手工，欢乐，和公众对于华人节日的理解，间接提高华人的形象。
