Tai Chi Fan and Sword Club

Master Sandra Balint has headed up the Chinese Community Center’s (CCC’s) Tai Chi Fan and Sword Club since January 2023. Under her leadership her students have mastered the Tai Chi Flowing Water discipline Trilogy (TCFWD).  This includes Single and Double Fan, created by Balint’s long time teacher, Grandmaster Jiang Jianye. In 2024 Master Balint completed the trilogy with choreographing: Tai Chi 42 Form Flowing Water Single Sword.  Currently the Tai Chi club is learning 32 Form Mu Lan Fusion Double Fan for Lunar New Year 2026. This fan discipline was completed by Master Balint in 2015 and was immediately accepted by the Fan Association of North America for their video archives.    The Tai Chi Club has been very active, performing throughout the Capital Region for Lunar New Year, APAPA, AAPI, CCC, and Community Cultural, Diversity and International program events.  It has also performed at the recently formed Asian Village at the New York State Fair in Syracuse for the last three years.   

师傅桑德拉·拜林特于2023年1月在华社成立太极俱乐部，旨在提供一个学习太极扇和太极剑的机会。在桑德拉的领导下，俱乐部学员们学习了太极流水三部曲（TCFWD)，包括单扇和双扇，这二部由桑德拉长年师从的太极武功大师姜建业创建；2024年，桑德拉教授了第三部，42式流水太极单剑，自此完成三步曲的学习和训练。目前学员们正在学习32 式木兰融合双扇，为2026 春节做准备。这套双扇由桑德拉于2015创作，出台即由北美太极协会纳入协会录像档案。

太极俱乐部自成立以来一直活跃在纽约首府地区，参与各种表演活动如：庆祝中国新年、APAPA、AAPI、华社、社区文化交流、国际活动交流，并连续三年在新成立的纽约州博览会亚洲村表演。
