Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration | CCC 2026
On the afternoon of September 26, the Chinese Community Center (CCC) hosted its 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration. Friends and families, both new and familiar, gathered together to celebrate this special occasion with delicious food, art, music, performances, and laughter.
The celebration began at 3:00 PM with a Mid-Autumn-themed Chinese painting exhibition and children’s coloring activities. Beautiful works of traditional Chinese art brought a festive cultural atmosphere to the event, while children enjoyed expressing their creativity through colors and drawings.
At 4:30 PM, the Mid-Autumn Festival program officially began. Guests enjoyed a wonderful variety of dance, singing, and other cultural performances. The event was held potluck-style, with community members bringing their favorite dishes to share, while CCC also provided a delicious selection of food and beverages. Guests enjoyed the performances while sharing food, catching up with old friends, and making new ones.
The mooncake-making activity was another popular highlight of the afternoon. Adults and children had the opportunity to make mooncakes together and experience this beloved Mid-Autumn tradition firsthand. The celebration concluded with karaoke, filling the room with music, laughter, and community spirit.
This year’s celebration also featured a Voter Registration information station, providing community members with an opportunity to learn more about voter registration and civic participation while celebrating this important traditional festival.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is about more than admiring the moon and enjoying mooncakes—it is about reunion, sharing, and connection. Our sincere thanks go to all of our performers, volunteers, organizers, and community members who brought food, participated in the activities, and helped make this celebration possible. It is everyone’s involvement and support that make CCC a welcoming place where we can connect with one another, preserve our culture, and strengthen our community. Under the same moon, we come together as one community.
We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next CCC gathering!
